A deep blue layer cake with some lighter blue designs.  Inspiration is taken from Japanese Shibori techniques (although the traditional handcrafted methods have not been used here in the final printing process).  We would describe the designs as similar to Western tie dye.  The darker palette is lifted by the lighter blues.

Moda fabric is resistant to running in the wash but you may wish to test this yourself prior to starting your project as some of the blues are very dark.
